Doman Building Materials Group Ltd. (formally CanWel Building Materials Group Ltd.) is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia and trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol DBM. Doman is one of North America’s largest producer of pressure treated lumber products with 32 operating plants, and also distributes and produces a wide range of building materials, lumber, and renovation products.

In Canada CanWel Building Materials, a division of Doman, is a fully vertically integrated national distributor in the building materials and related products sector.

Doman’s U.S. treating and distribution division includes the recently acquired and wholly-owned Texas based Hixson Lumber division, California Cascade Division, Honsador Building Products Group in Hawaii, operations and a buying office in Oregon.

Doman also operates Vancouver-based Lignum Forest Products LLP, a specialty wholesaler and distributor of premium lumber products. Doman operates treating plants and lumber remanufacturing facilities in Canada and the United States, with distribution centres in all major cities and strategic locations across Canada, Central United States and the west coast of the United States.

CanWel Fibre, a division of Doman, operates a vertically-integrated forest products company based in Canada with activities from British Columbia to Saskatchewan.  Doman owns approximately 117,000 acres of private timberlands, strategic Crown licenses and tenures, log harvesting and trucking operations, several post and pole peeling facilities, and two pressure-treated specialty wood production plants.
