The development of Carebook began within a healthcare center in western Canada. Its founder - an established leader in healthcare and health information technology - conceptualized a computer-assisted health management system that could forever change the delivery of preventive healthcare.



From its original iteration, the system has been able to correlate health history data with evidence-based risk assessment tools to highlight personal health risks and illustrate the impact of lifestyle change on risk reduction. Since that time, Carebook continues to evolve to include many other features aimed at helping individuals manage all aspects of their family's health.
