Since 1968, the Cegep de la Gaspésie et des Îles has been working to ensure access to higher education for all residents of the Gaspe Peninsula and the Magdalen Islands. It is a leading player in the development of the region. Its campuses in Carleton, Gaspé (French and English), the Magdalen Islands as well as the School of Fisheries in Grand River are in constant evolution. Today, our scope of work in education has expanded through practical and proven e-learning programs. Powered by seeking innovation, our Cegep draws its vitality from the heart of our region to provide a life-size experience.
Along with its partners, the Cegep is also active on the international scene be it in business recruitment, continuing education or research. The Cegep de la Gaspésie et des Îles is a leader in technology transfer with three centers specializing in fishing, wind energy and innovative social practices.
