Chantiers Jeunesse
January 15, 2015
Chantiers jeunesse is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980. We organize international volunteer workcamps abroad for Canadians aged over 18 years old in over 35 countries of Europe, Asia and North America. We offer various types of projects, such as cultural, social, environmental, patrimonial or renovation-oriented projects.
Chantiers jeunesse aims to promote active young citizenship and supports the development of communities and the full potential of people by providing learning opportunities in collaboration with local and foreign partners. The volunteers work in international groups in order to live an intercultural exchange. Indeed, this volunteer work experience will enrich their professional and educational portfolio.
Furthermore, Chantiers jeunesse offers medium and long-term volunteer opportunities in partnership with international members of the Alliance of Voluntary Youth Service Organizations. These projects are more specific and require a greater involvement from the volunteer.
