The mission of the Comptoir alimentaire Drummond is to relieve the hunger of poor individuals and families in the MRC de Drummond and to reduce the anguish and anxiety caused by the inability to feed one's family adequately.

In order to accomplish its mission, the Comptoir alimentaire Drummond operates a food recovery service from merchants, sorting and processing as well as food distribution in a spirit of solidarity, fraternity and sharing.

It promotes social and professional reintegration through its work platform by welcoming people to employability programs.

The Comptoir alimentaire ensures that people are aware of impoverishment and encourages them to participate in food donations throughout the year; the Guignolée, the recovery of surplus gardens, the urban orchard project are just a few examples.

The Comptoir alimentaire Drummond also offers a free school procurator service.
