Réno-Dépôt Candiac

On March 31, 1993, the first Réno-Dépôt opened its doors in Brossard, on Montréal’s South Shore. It was a 128,000-square-foot warehouse store boasting multiple aisles lined with shelves containing more than 35,000 quality items.

It was the first warehouse for the home improvement market in Quebec. Nothing in Quebec retail could compare; all other stores were typical neighbourhood hardware stores, with or without a timber yard.

The goal of this first warehouse store was to offer the largest selection of items for home improvement and gardening at truly unbeatable prices. Each time you turned a corner, you were surprised by the sheer volume of merchandise available. You would always find what you were looking for, whether you are a home improvement enthusiast, or a contractor.
