Our client, a company offering cloud computing technology for collecting and managing data, mainly for the gambling sector, serving an international client base is currently looking for a Back End Developer to work on developing and improving different solutions based on the Internet of things, cloud computing, blockchain, and big data.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of technological director, your job will mainly consist of taking part in the full range of programming activities involved in developing and improving different solutions based on technologies for the Internet of things, cloud computing, blockchain, and big data.

  • Take part in needs analysis ;
  • Work alongside other team members to launch projects and provide a technical perspective ;
  • Actively contribute to programming and to improvements to the company's different solutions ;
  • Contribute to work estimates with the team leader and other team members ;
  • Take part in defining project scope: establishing the stages, deadlines, and risks involved in a project ;
  • Meet specifications, particularly with regard to functionality and performance ;
  • Develop solid expertise on cloud technology, big data, blockchain, and IoT ;
  • Perform a technology watch in order to stay on top of new market trends and clients' needs ;
  • Take part in various meetings and inform management of developments in your work ;
  • Contribute to developments in methodologies, tools, and codes used by the development team ;
  • Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other relevant studies ;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the technology sector ;
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft technologies: .NET, CORE.NET, Azure, Service Fabric ;
  • Proficient with programming languages: C#, Java, HTML, and JavaScript ;
  • Functionally bilingual (spoken and written French and English).
