Bilingual Procurement Coordinator (Quebec Food Industry)
The Procurement Coordinator will work with the Procurement Manager
- Support all the activities of the various departments
- Plan and manage inventory
- Ensure logistics with warehouse, factory and stores
- Analyzes and schedules orders
- Creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders
- Carry out forecasts of monthly and weekly purchases
- Develop reports of performance indicators and sales reports (KPI)
- Continuously review and improve supply chain processes and strategies
- Be alert on the strategic market
- Participate in the research of new products and sources of supply
- Perform search for new products
- Communicate with suppliers
- Take samples, price lists, information tracking, etc
- Participating in negotiation, setting up of an agreement and maintaining relationships with suppliers in terms of product purchases (prices, discounts, payment method, transport, return policy, exclusivity, etc.)
Requirements:
- Degree in supply or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 3 years experience in buying, procurement or procurement
- Experience with fresh and dry food products
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, MS Office and Excel
- Both oral and written bilingualism
