Bilingual Senior Technical Business Analyst

One of our clients in Montreal is actually looking for an experienced Senior Tech BA for Montreal.

Responsibilities:

• Works with various information technology, network and business operations subject-matter experts in order to analyze the needs for the corporation and its customers, evaluates them and propose solutions.
• Responsible for the vision, architecture, design and implementation of different IT solutions impacting access management and security platforms.
• Participate in the elaboration of strategies to ensure the integration and stability of the IT solutions.
• Participate to the planning and coordination of the project’s activities and is responsible to complete quality deliverable on time.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for IT solutions.
• Monitor new technologies on the market and ensure continuous improvement of our IT solutions.
• Ensure the integrity, the coherence and the optimal performance of the IT solutions and take charge of complex problems.
• Understand and follow the operational processes, procedures and work instructions available to ensure cohesive operational activities.
• In line with its area of expertise, participate and represent the team in request for proposals, new customer’s diligent reviews, committees and others

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of experience delivering scalable enterprise systems in computer and networking technology preferably in a telecommunication environment.
• Expertise in LDAP and directory structures.
• Expertise in Linux, Unix (Redhat, Solaris) & Good knowledge of Windows.
• Expertise in identity and access management. (IAM)
• Good knowledge in security information and event management (SIEM).
• Good knowledge in security technologies such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN and Content Filtering.
• Proven track record in systems integration with experience in software development and infrastructure design for large scale distributed systems and applications.
• Good knowledge of web hosting (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss).
• Good knowledge in Java and the following frameworks / technologies: REST, SOAP, JMS, XML.
• Good knowledge of scripting language such as Bash, Perl, Python.
• Good knowledge of database systems: Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, data modeling.

• Critical requirements for the Security Architect as follows
• IT application security
• Identity access management (Oracle LDAP, Active directory, CA Directory)
• SIEM / Log management - Intel legacy, Nitro, HP Arc sight
• Ability to write / build specific components - Scripting / programming using Python, Perl, Shell, etc..
• Managing architecture, Roadmap
• Firewall rules - EDS / IDS - Juniper, Secure pulse (bought Juniper)
