C++ Software Developer

Our client is a company specializing in universal 3D metrology software solutions for the manufacturing and industrial sectors. They are currently looking for a C++ software developer, to continue their ongoing growth as a company.

Nature of position

Your job will be to work within a multidisciplinary team using Scrum methodology, contributing to the development of software to be used for metrics for various projects (algorithms, interface ergonomics, 3D sensors, 3D geometry and rendering, advanced reports, etc.). As such, you may be called on to:

• Carry out any other task related to your duties.
• Ensure that work methods and process us undergo ongoing improvement by interacting with peers and analyzing activities in order to optimize operations and work methods;
• Research, study, and select software concepts and practices;
• Analyze, evaluate, and verify software and system requirements using software engineering practices;
• Document software development and tests, writing a variety of documents, reports, memos, and change requests, in keeping with the methods defined by approved procedures and standards;
• Contribute to the development of product architecture;
• Design, develop, debug, modify, and test software programs (primarily in C++);

Required qualification

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other relevant education and training;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with software development;
• Proficient in development with object-oriented languages;
• Proficient with C++;
• A marked interest and skill in teamwork and an Agile software development approach;
• Experience with mathematical, geometric, and 3D programming is an asset;
• Excellent French language skills.
