CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Inspection Technician

Our client is a company specializing in the development of technical solutions for the manufacturing and industrial sectors. They are currently looking for a CMM inspection technician, in order to pursue their ongoing growth.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the technical director, your job will be to ensure that the company's coordinate measuring machine inventory works smoothly, making sure they are calibrated and creating part measurement and inspection programs. As such, you may be called upon to:

• Carry out any other task related to your duties.
• Generate inspection reports;
• Conduct reproducibility studies;
• Provide support for engineering activities with regards to the establishment and implementation of inspection plans;
• Be in charge of purchases related to the company's CMM machinery (machines, tools, and instruments);
• Work alongside the development team to carry out tests and solve client's problems;
• Develop a training program and train employees;
• Carry out CMM inspections;
• Develop and manage the company's coordinate measuring machinery;

Required qualification

• College diploma in mechanical engineering or any other relevant training;
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field of inspection, metrology, dimensional tolerancing, geometrics, etc.;
• Functionally bilingual (French and English).
