Communications and Support

CoachingOurselves, Henry Mintzberg's peer-coaching approach, is looking for a technically proficient communications and support person for a 9 month contract starting January 2016 to replace our colleague on maternity leave. There will be a possibility for the contract to be extended after the 9 months. 

This is a full time, work from home position.  You will have flexibility and the opportunity to set your own hours and work location but must be a motivated self starter who is reliable and can get things done. This job does not have set work hours; you must be flexible to work when needed.  Applicant must live in Montreal and attendance at the office in Montreal will be required once or twice a week. 

Tasks Include:

• Project Management:
• Coordinate translations across multiple languages for partners.

 Experience in InDesign and/or ability to quickly learn new software:

• Place translated topics into current template in InDesign
• Create and update marketing and conference materials using InDesign
• Create and send monthly newsletter via Mailchimp
• Quickly master any other necessary software

Editing:

• Draft and send monthly newsletter
• Create text for marketing materials and social media
• Proofread documents for colleagues

Design:

• Create banners and marketing materials for conferences, customers, and partners
• Create banners/cover photos for Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn

Support:

• Support partners and clients, giving access to topics, licensing topics, and keeping records of activity
• Oversee and test new features on websites for clients and partners 
• Collect and work with printers to print documents for conferences and events

Marketing:

• Update all social media sites

CoachingOurselves is a small company of five people that operates through a network of over 300 business partners around the world.  We were founded by Henry Mintzberg and Phil LeNir in 2007.  CoachingOurselves offers a peer-coaching program for management and leadership development.  The CoachingOurselves program is built on 90-minute peer-coaching sessions, self-run by groups of 4-6 managers and guided by our modules.  The program is now used by almost 20,000 managers in 8 languages around the world.
