Customer-centric Business Analyst - Social Games
Our client is a multiplatform social games developer. It is the 'top 3' grossing Facebook developer and the top 10 grossing developer on iOS & Android.

They are looking for a proven analytics leader with polished business acumen, expertise in Customer Behavior Modelling and strong client service skills. The Business Analyst plays a key role in the development of customer-centric business and marketing strategies based on analytics by delivering best-in-class insights. This role bridges client’s business problems with data, analytics, recommendations and results.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
- Actively maintain the analytics project list, re-prioritizing with key stakeholders as needed
- Oversee the development, execution and measurement of all customer campaigns for the Marketing & Monetization team
- Provide marketing optimization and recommendations to maximize client ROI
- Design & automate impactful BI / reporting solutions for the marketing team, the product owners and the executives
- Identify revenue opportunities by uncovering actionable insights from internal information
- Oversee design and implementation of multi-layered customer segmentation models, both descriptive and predictive in nature
- Actively promote & participate in cross-sharing knowledge across the Analytics function
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has :
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Intelligence (M.Sc. an asset).
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to influence business partners with data-driven insights
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working in ambiguous, matrix and challenging situations
- Ability to communicate abstract analytics findings to mid-senior level stakeholders effectively
- Ability to approach problems with an analytical and logical view
- Exceptional problem solving skills coupled with the “can do” attitude
- Hands-on type of candidate – someone who is not afraid of carrying out simple reporting alongside complex and sophisticated analytics
They are looking for someone who has:
- 3-5 years of experience in customer analytics from customer facing industries (B2C)
- Proficient experience with SQL
- Extensive knowledge Excel and Office Suite
- Experience with data visualization tool and knowledge of Tableau Software
- Knowledge in Python (an asset)
- Knowledge and understanding of social gaming on mobile and Facebook platforms, specifically the social casino genre (an asset)
