Role summary:

The Cycle Counter, is responsible for planning, coordinating and performing the  Inventory Cycle counts of Finished Goods and Wip Inventories in order to ensure the item and quantity accuracy in the DSI and JDE system;

Responsabilités:

• Ensure the pallet label accuracy in DSI versus the floor count;
• Compile and produce daily and weekly reports useful in the development of policies and procedures supporting continuous improvement of inventory accuracy;
• Perform root cause analysis of discrepancies uncovered during the cycle counts in order to determine the most effective method(s) of avoiding future recurrences;
• Train Inventory Control and Warehouse staff in the proper and effective cycle count procedures and techniques;
• Produce a cycle count based of the ABC Analysis in all branches, MTL, MUS, MCA and International;
• Perform weekly counts of all Resin inventory and report on any discrepancies uncovered;
• Perform bi-weekly counts of all Pigment Inventory and report on all discrepancies uncovered;
• Perform daily molding machine audits to ensure accuracy of the label count versus the contained box quantity and report on all discrepancies to the Molding Managements and Inventory Control Technicians;
• Compile and produce daily and weekly  to support continuous improvement to inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

• Good mathematical skills (counting);
• Have a forklift licence;
• English or French (Written and Spoken);
• Know how to use a scanner;
• Knowledge on DSI and JDE;
• Good Communication skills.
