DevOps Engineer

YOUR CHALLENGE

We’re on the hunt for a DevOps Engineer who will work autonomously and continuously to deploy and operate our systems and environments. This new role will help automate and streamline our operations and processes. You will be improving our build pipeline and ensuring successful delivery of new releases while increasing our velocity. You will work collaboratively with the Development, IT, and QA teams to ensure high availability and redundancy of all systems. You will also:

• Automate the build, test, deployment, configuration management and server provisioning of our site
• Facilitate our path to true continuous delivery
• Research and implement new technologies to improve our Dev, QA, Staging and Production infrastructure
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Effectively contribute to building the overall knowledge and expertise of the technical team

YOU HAVE

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Minimum of 2+ years DevOps administration experience and 2+ years cloud expertise with Azure
• Good experience with .NET projects (Visual Studio or MS Build, including NuGet packages)
• Experience with a deployment automation tools
• Experience managing SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure VMs
• Experience with distributed systems and database fundamentals
• Experience with security and high volume, large scale environment
• You are proficient in several web languages, preferably including C#, MS T-SQL, JavaScript
• A good understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and experience participating in an agile team
• Experience building and deploying web and mobile based applications
• A deep understanding of Web and HTTP
• You can collect and analyze packet captures of basic web traffic
• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any related field
