We have a new opportunity for a talented DevOps Specialist to join our Montreal office and to work on the infrastructure of our flagship product that abstracts the complexities of big data technologies and allows financial institutions to unlock and get value from their data. As part of our team of passionate professionals working in an Agile environment, you will tackle the complexities of market data feeds, and meet clients’ performance needs. You are someone who thrives on exploring and integrating new technology and you will join our smart and diversified team that loves tackling problems and has fun working together.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the cloud environment end to end with automation and infrastructure as code
• Operate the tools that power the data infrastructure
• Work on release, deployment, server maintenance and configuration activities
• Resolve any issues in our test and production environments
• Build modern automated deployment pipelines, and maintain them
• Be part of the development team to ensure that objectives are met
• Make recommendations for the improvement of infrastructure and performance
• Promote DevOps best practices within teams

Your skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or the equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Specialist
• Hands-on experience on AWS and/or Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong Linux Administration experience
• Container experience: Docker, Kubernetes
• Solid experience of configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet
• Experience with build tools: Maven, Gradle, Grunt
• Experience in scripting with bash, Perl or Python
• Financial Data technologies - asset
• Good knowledge of Big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark and Kafka - asset
• Positive, can-do attitude and passion for new technology
• Bilingual, excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and French)
