Our Montreal-based client is looking for an experienced, passionate and creative individual to fill the senior position of Digital Marketing Director, in Montreal. As Digital Marketing Director you will be responsible for strategy development and execution of all current and future digital marketing initiatives.
The Digital Marketing Director develops integrated campaigns designed to help achieve specific business goals. The position will champion efforts to share information, obtain community feedback with our clients and regional affiliates through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It is expected of you to have working knowledge of brand aspirations, customer needs, platform assessments, and competitive realities to identify unique marketing and advertisement opportunities within the digital space.
The Digital Marketing Director, as a senior and critical member of the digital marketing team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of digital assets, SEO, SEM, and any other social media related initiatives. In addition, you will communicate and rationalize conceptual digital marketing direction, manage the collaborative efforts of all media services and web team members. The Digital Marketing Director will evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to contribute to overall digital marketing strategy.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop effective marketing strategies and tactical implementations, including key themes, value proposition, compelling competitive advantages, success metrics and digital product recommendations.
- Devise innovative strategies and ensure that milestones are set and set objectives are attained.
- Monitor and manage the social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the organization.
- Build and analyze community metrics including qualitative and quantitative measurements including data from monitoring tools, community metrics, etc.
- Provide insights to the digital team and evolve strategies to improve sentiment and engagement to achieve business goals.
- Develop and maintain an effective and involved workforce through performance leadership and employee involvement; driving creative growth, education, communications and policies which support inclusion and team effectiveness.
- Identify and correlate emerging trends within the digital landscape drawing conclusions that help increase the performance of the digital marketing campaign tactics.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8-10 years
- Previous experience managing Digital Marketing campaigns specifically social media, having at least one of the following is an asset: SEO, SEM, display.
- Excellent website project management and problem-solving skills to assemble productive teams, schedule, monitor work and evaluate results.
- BA/BS degree in related fields or equivalent professional work experience.
- Deep digital experience including strategy, user experience and technology understanding.
- Proficiency and experience in various aspects of social media specifically advertising.
- Knowledge of current social media and communications best practices, and a willingness to try new technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
