Role : The Electric Motors Mechanic works with task in dissembling, repairs, assembling or inspection of rotating equipment like electric motors especially.

Work Localisation : Mississauga

Status : Full time, day 7:30h-15:50h

Main responsabilities :

• Perform the different appropriated electromechanical testing to diagnostic causes of failure;
• Note & write different repairs & improvements to be made in order to answer the customer requirements;
• Dismantle the unit by well identifying parts, their configurations & their conditions;
• Take precise mechanical measurements and be able to evaluate them;
• Complete the necessary document to execute the repairs and their replacement parts as authorized;
• Assemble the different units and respect the tolerances and adjustments according to the equipment type;
• Do the testing in rotation and take different parameters as voltage, amps, vibrations and others;
• Make external calls to customer’ business, when necessary;
• Write a final data report by putting down the different values recorded during assembly and make sure that those values are conform to the customer specifications and quality standards of the company;
• Do all the other tasks required by his supervisor.

Skills & requirements :

• OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Degree),  mechanical certificate or equivalent;
• 5 years or more in industrial field;
• Excellent knowledge of electric motors;
• Electric knowledge  (asset);
• Troubleshooting;
• Available for service;
• Driver License required.
