Our client, a major construction contractor specialized in civil engineering works (bridges, viaducts, civil engineering structure, roads, aqueducts and sewers, etc.) is currently looking for an estimator/project manager.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the construction Vice-president, you will have as main mandate to carry out the tasks related to the project estimation to be tendered and the management of the contracts to be executed. As such, you will :

  • Prepare bids for tender projects ;
  • Participate in the management of the obtained contracts ;
  • Manage cost and evaluate the profitability of its projects ;
  • Respond to technical requests from the construction site ;
  • Perform every other task compatible with your functions.

Required qualification

  • Bachelor in civil engineering, construction engineering, DEC in civil engineering or any other relevant training ;
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in civil engineering works ;
  • Precise and complete knowledges of rules, policies, procedures, laws and standards in the construction field ;
  • Knowledges of MS Office and MS Project ;
  • French and English bilingualism (spoken and written) will be considered as an asset.
