Front of House Restaurant Manager
Our client - a very successful Montreal restaurant group is currently recruiting for a Front of House Restaurant Manager for a new Restaurant Project.
They require the candidate to be Fully Bilingual in English and French with 10+ years of Montreal area Restaurant Management
Duties:
- Deliver the professional greeting of clients & visitors to the highest standards possible
- Implement safe working practices to ensure safety of both Staff & Customers
- Monitor the team’s performance promoting achievements & identifying weaker areas for improvement
- Ensure Timely seating & food delivery as well as proper attention from servers
- Ensuring a smooth dining & bar experience for the customers
- Oversee e-mail campaigns and promotions
- Help execute the FOH operational strategy including opening and closing duties, staff assignments
- Deal with all issues
- Help to ensure the Point of Sale system is operating effectively
- Identify staff issues & challenges, and recommend staffing changes
- Attend weekly management meetings with the Ownership group
- Help ensure all FOH team members have the tools necessary to perform their jobs in a safe, respectful, professional and focused manner
- Monitor all FOH team member assignments
- Serve as th Subject Matter Expertpoint of contact for all FOH team member issues, challenges, and difficulties
- Identify and communicate all disciplinary issues
- Ensure all front of house fixtures, furniture, and equipment are cleaned, maintained and operational
- Assist with the execution of special events, including tastings, festivals, and private parties
- Identify new ways to create and maintain a superior experience for guests and employees alike
- Ensuring superior restaurant service through training and management of all front of house staff.
- Establishes restaurant business plan by surveying restaurant demand
- Identifying and evaluating competitors
- Preparing financial and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
- Preparing strategic and annual forecasts and budgets;
- Help develop and implementing marketing evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
- Accomplishes restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry
- Background in cost accounting, developing budgets, financial planning and strategy
- Experience in high volume restaurant sales environment
Salary: 60,000 to 65,000
