Industrial engineering expert

Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the manufacture of utility vehicles, positions itself as a file manager in its sector of activity, is currently looking for an industrial engineering expert.

Nature of position

En collaboration avec la coordonnatrice génie industriel et méthode, vous aurez pour mandat principal d’agir à titre de personne ressource pour l’entreprise avec tout ce qui a trait au génie industriel. Vous serez amené à participer à plusieurs projets organisationnels en étroite collaboration avec la production en lien avec les pistes de solution et/ou amélioration. À ce titre vous verrez à :

• Coordinate various organizational projects such as factory and warehouse layout as well as the computerization of workstation ;
• Participate in the industry 4.0 component by considering the human, technological and economic aspects;
• Organize, animate and ensure the follow-up of workshops with the objective of optimizing sequences, assembly methods and manufacturing strategies;
• Support other departments of the organization in industrial engineering activities in order to find solutions, improve our processes and propose best practices ;
• Establish and maintain standard production times by timing, production balancing, assembly sequence and standard by shift ;
• Set up the factory and workstations to improve productivity, quality and safety ;
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to produce new vehicles ;
• Be the reference in everything related to industrial engineering with other departments of the organization (factory and office ergonomics, OHS, etc.) ;
• Carry out every other task compatible with your functions.

Required qualification

• Bachelor in industrial engineering, DEC in industrial engineering, or any other relevant training ;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing filed ;
• Show project management experience ;
• Mastery of work methods and measurements ;
• Be able to communicate in a functional English.
