Our client, a financial services company based in Trois-Rivières that caters to small and medium-sized businesses across Canada, is currently seeking to fill the position of IT Services Supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities :

The IT Services Supervisor is primarily responsible for providing support and service to our client’s users and IT operations across Canada. As a key member of the Infrastructure & Support team, the incumbent helps ensure the secure, reliable and effective delivery of IT services. They must understand and uphold the system of internal controls associated with the duties and responsibilities inherent to the position, including SOX.

• Supervise technical staff in Trois-Rivières and other locations.
• Build strong working relationships with users and department managers to set service-level expectations and align support with business needs.
• Develop and implement procedures to measure and improve support services and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning for the U.S. and Canada.
• Manage the relationship with iWeb to ensure reliable, secure co-location services.
• Ensure that the appropriate infrastructure, disaster recovery and network equipment maintenance agreements are in place in all Canadian offices.

Preferred qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with a minimum of four years’ diversified technical support experience in a corporate environment
• Associate degree or technical school diploma with a minimum of eight years’ diversified technical support experience in a corporate environment
• Microsoft, A+ or similar technical certification(s), an asset
• MCSE or other advanced systems administration/network certifications, an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Ability to organize and manage a demanding workload, including setting priorities and multi-tasking
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
