Ladies Apparel Fabric Coordinator
The successful candidate will possess a strong sense of organization and initiative to get the job done.
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Issue and follow up all purchase orders
- Create fabric PO details spreadsheet by supplier, style, color and quantity
- Organize and maintain fabric lines and frequently update the fabric library
- Calculate fabric yardage for each style and determine the total yield
- Recommend up-to-date and available fabric lines to clients
- Identify and resolve any issues after purchase
- Communicate daily with fabric suppliers to ensure fabrics are on time and meet quality and quantity requirements
- Receive actual shipping samples from suppliers and approve to ship
- Provide fabric swatches for each LOT to production team
Job Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize, track, and complete multiple and competing priorities
- Strong and professional communication skills
- Computer proficiency: Excel and Word
- Proficient in math
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and accurate
- Ability to build, develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams
