Lead Developer - Cognos BI (Business Intelligence)

Responsibilities:  LEADERSHIP ROLE

• Stored procedure development and tuning Data Modeling, Analysis and Extraction / Transformation / Load (ETL) development using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services;
• Support Development teams by reviewing their designs and stored procedures for adherence to design practices and standards;
• Assess proposed database changes for consistency, compliance and integration with data architecture standards and policies.

You will work in the following environment … (with an opportunity to be trained on some of the tools):

• Cognos: Report Studio, Transformer, Framework Manager, Analysis Studio, Metric Studio
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
• ETL
• SQL scripting
• SSIS or other similar
• Reporting skills
