Our client, life insurance broker for high net worth entrepreneurs and their family located in the heart of downtown Montreal, is seeking a Life Insurance Case Coordinator who will work closely with the sales team to manage the case preparation of new business, and the in-force block of business as required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all open cases;
  • Produce illustrations using illustration software;
  • Create standard presentation packages utilizing illustrations, applets and other available formats, etc.;
  • Prepare Insurance Application Forms, Questionnaires and Illustrations;
  • Arrange medicals and other underwriting requirements;
  • Follow up with the underwriting team, obtain and provide missing information;
  • Package insurance contracts and settling requirements for delivery;
  • Interact with clients, prepare and submit change forms, update client files;
  • Attend and participate industry skills development sessions;
  • Establish a strong compliance program based on industry compliance guidelines. 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software applications;
  • Bilingual (French/English);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to set priorities and move between projects continuously;
  • Effective problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
