Localization Project Manager

The project manager is responsible for the planning, execution and completion of projects under his supervision while ensuring compliance with the objectives (cost, time and quality) for each project.

He/She guarantees the quality of work of his/her test teams and customer satisfaction as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Managers and the coordinator in planning in the allocation of resources to projects
• Ensure communication with assigned customers
• Project coordination with the customer
• Supervise team leaders
• Achieving the goals of customers related to cost, quality and schedule
• Manage team effectiveness under his/her supervision
• Validate daily, weekly and monthly reports from team leaders
• Identify training needs of employees under his/her supervision
• Ensure compliance and maintains the processes and initialization procedures,implementation and project completion
• Assist in the creation and validation of post-mortems
• Establish requirements own human and material resources to each project
• Conduct employee assessment under his/her supervision
• Assist the management team in problem solving, decision making and improvement of processes and procedures

Requirements

• Project management University degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience or
• Have worked at least 5 years in the video game industry
• Owning two to three years of experience as a team leader composed of at least 10 people
• Experience online games (MMO) as well as excellent knowledge of hardware and software PC
• Excellent organizational skills and schedules management
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple folders at once
• Ability to be autonomous and to take initiatives
• Ability to motivate teams and to communicate
• Excellent ability to communicate in English, Bilingualism (an asset)
• Have maintained an excellent relationship with the customers
