CNC Machinist

Duties :

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Convert files of various types Sat, STP, Parasolid
• Program using either Top Solid or Mastercam software
• Design and machine jigs and fixtures as required
• Develop and plan methods of machining for complex parts
• Select proper tools and fixtures required, as well as the ability to perform tool wear offset
• Properly and safely load and unload tools and raw materials in CNC machinery
• Set proper speeds and feeds
• Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to load and unload the components
• Understand, interpret and edit FANUC G-code programming

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience programming, setting-up and operating CNC milling machines
• 3,4 and 5 axis
• Familiar with machining various types of materials such as  Aluminum, Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Brass and Plastics  
• Familiar with Matsuura machining centers
