Reporting to the director of Naître et grandir, this position supports the team by collaborating to the planning and carrying out various campaigns and promotional activities (advertising campaigns, pubic relations activities, events, partnerships, contests, etc.). The goal is to educate parents on the importance of a child's development from conception to their early age. With brand harmonization always at the forefront of their mind, the success of this position is measured through consultation, notoriety and referencing of Naître et grandir, as well as through the assessment of changes in attitudes and behaviour and the on-boarding of new partners.

Main responsibilities

  • Participate and contribute to brainstorms aiming at defining strategies, communication axes and media planning related to Naître et grandir’s campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Oversee the deployment of campaigns, public relations activities, promotional and partnerships projects, as well as referencing and acquisition projects in accordance to the determined strategic orientations.
  • Carry out the appropriate business intelligence to scout complementary and strategic partnership opportunities in accordance to the determined strategic orientations.
  • Mobilize and on-board the required partners, freelancers and/or vendors (ad production, media placement, public relations, research and evaluation, etc.) to reach the established targets.
  • Create and write and/or supervise the promotional material’s redaction, creation and production (ads, posters, banners, brochures, audiovisual materiel, etc.).
  • Negotiate with vendors and media outlets in order to maximize the ad production and media placement dollars’ value.
  • Manage the deployment of the campaign’s activities according to a pre-established schedule and closely monitor traffic in order to optimize and improve their performance.
  • Supervise the distribution of the magazine and other materials to our partners.
  • Coordinate formative research and evaluation activities and integrate their conclusions.
  • Supervise the production and customer service coordinators.
  • Ensure budget control and accountability of the campaigns and promotional activities.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • University diploma in a relevant field combined with 7 to 10 years experience in communications, marketing or public relations.
  • Proven abilities in coordinating and carrying out various communication activities as well as formative research and evaluation activities.
  • Relevant experience in small business project management (SME, non-profits, etc.).
  • Experience and proven abilities in dealing with consultants and various partners to create population-scaled social and behavioural change strategies.
  • Experience in metrics analysis (including SEO).
  • Expert-level skills in spoken and written French; knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Proficient user of usual office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in the field of early childhood in Québec a plus.
