Mechanical Assembler

At Aesus we design, fabricate, assemble, test and install packaging machinery (labelers, fillers, cappers, conveyors, turntables, etc.) for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and nutraceutical industries to name a few.  The company brings together a dynamic team of 100 employees and is located in Pointe-Claire.

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler (Spare parts department).

Main objective :

The main task of the candidate will be to mechanically assemble small machines (fillers) and other sub-assemblies. The person will also have to make repairs on small machines belonging to existing customers.

Requirements :

• Diploma in industrial electronics, electromechanical, machinist, mechanical engineering (or any other similar degree);
• Minimum experience in a similar position (asset);
• Ability to work with a caliper and micrometer (asset);
• Electrical knowledge (asset);
• Capacity to work accurately;
• Manual ability;
• Team player;

Work conditions :

• Permanent position;
• Full time (40h/week);
• Day shift (approx. 7am to 3:30pm, but flexible hours, can be discussed);
• Summer hours;
