Mechanical designer

Our client, a worldwide company specialized in design and manufacturing of low and medium voltage power equipment also in the of renewable electrical energy production, is currently looking for one of its factory, a mechanical designer.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the engineering director and in collaboration with the engineering and the projects teams, you will have as main mandate to offer a support with the existing products and participate at the new products development. As such, you will :

• Carry out the design of engineering projects, mainly in 2D (Autocad) and also in 3D (SolidWorks) ;
• Participate at the design and development of detailed drawings of mechanical and electrical parts (sheet metal, machined parts, assembly, updating of drawings) ;
• Design jigs / dies using machining techniques, including welding, bending, milling and drilling ;
• Ensure to respect the technical and internal sandards of the company ;
• Work jointly and make recommendations with the engineers ;
• Modify and correct the drawings according to the requests and specifications ;
• Support the production for the designed projects ;
• Carry out the design, plans and drawings amendment ;
• Perform every other tasks compatibles with your functions.

Required qualification

• DEC in mechanical engineering or any other relevant training ;
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in design ;
• Excellent command of Autocad software ;
• Good knowledges in english, spoken and written ;
• Having a good analysis and logic analyse ;
• Easy to communicate and work in a team.
