Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the production and marketing of cast iron parts for the plumbing, waterworks and special products markets, is currently looking for a mechanical designer.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the engineering director, you will have as main mandate to conceive and draw or modify equipments as part of various projects aimed at improving the plant. As such, you will :

  • Provide technical support (drawing and design) to engineering for the realization of medium and large-scale projects ;
  • Be responsible for projects for projects or minor modifications ;
  • Maintain plant and equipment layout drawings ;
  • Carry out the readings in the factory ;
  • Perform every other task compatible with your functions.

Required qualification

  • DEC in mechanical engineering, DEP in industrial drawing, or any other relevant training ;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design ;
  • Knowledges in a design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD ;
  • Good mechanical knowledges ;
  • Demonstrate organization skills, rigor, and an analytical mind.
