Product Engineer - Microelectronics

Our Client, a Leader in the Microelectronics manufacturing industry is seeking a Process Engineer to join his Team in the Montreal region

Responsibilities:

Product Engineer guides the organization through the Project Proposal stage, layout design & prototype phase and pre-production phase.

His Responsibilities include:

• Product conception & definition;
• Proposal preparation and quotations;
• Layout design & design verification;
• Generation of manufacturing drawings;
• Liaison with customer;
• Liaison with sales, process engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing & test groups;
• Configuration control.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a product design environment in Microelectronics;
• Experience with miniaturized electronics packaging solutions;
• University degree in electrical/electronic engineering is mandatory;
• Experience with the different components used in Electronics manufacturing;
• Experience with the different types of ceramic used in Electronics Manufacturing;
• Experience with Rigid PCB and flexible PCB substrates;
• Experience with SMT, chip & wire and flip-chip components in various configurations to provide unique solutions;
• Ability to work in a high-tech environment as a member of a team;
• Highly motivated.
