Role:

The role of the production coordinator is to make sure that the team reaches all the goals of production and improvement of productivity and efficiency in the respect for the quality requirements, the timelines of delivery and by maintaining a secure and harmonious work atmosphere. They plan, organize and check the activities of production and manage a team in the respect for corporate policies and for strategies determined by the direction team.

Responsibilities

Know and respect the standards of quality and of food safety, the health regulations and work safety and policies.

Plan

Make action plans by setting team goals

Organize

Make sure that the supervisors have tools and necessary resources to reach the goals of their production line

Control

  • Establish methods allowing goals of production to be reached and to coordinate activities
  • Respect schedules
  • Measure the gaps between plans and results
  • Try constantly to improve the efficiency of its sector

Manage

  • Participate in the recruitment of the staff
  • Make sure that the supervisors understand their role well and their responsibilities in connection with the operations, quality and the Health and Safety of the work
  • Estimate the staff according to the presence, the quality and the attitude in the work as well as the standards and the fixed objectives
  • Coach the supervisors to improve the efficiency of the production line

Communicate

  • Announce prospects of the organization to the team
  • Assure the good communication, and harmonious relations, between production lines and other departments
  • Lead efficient and satisfactory meetings of team

Requirements

  • Level of studies: University
  • Diploma: BAC
  • Years of experience: 3-5 years
  • French written and spoken: advanced
  • English written and spoken: intermediary
  • BAC in operations management (Engineering)
  • Mastery of tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Ease with computers
  • Capacity to work on several projects at the same time
  • Leadership / Autonomous
  • Good communicator
  • Good analytical mind and of resolution of problems
  • Bilingualism
