Production Supervisor

Our client is a large-scale company that is firmly established in North America. They specialize in the production of industrial fastening elements. They are currently looking for a production supervisor.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the plant manager, your job will be to supervise, coordinate, and plan the work to be done by production department employees. In addition, you will be responsible for the integrity and reliability of your department's documentation.

• Manage shift employees, applying organizational policies, priorities, and productivity goals;
• Collaborate with your peers in applying the company's policies;
• Motivate and support working groups towards continual improvement;
• Establish performance standards, identify performance gaps, implement appropriate corrective action, and point out good performance;
• Put into place new work methods that foster flexibility and efficiency;
• Demonstrate professionalism and efficiency in your communications;
• Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

• College diploma in a relevant field (metallurgy, mechanical or industrial engineering, administration, etc.) or any other combination of relevant experience/education;
• Minimum de 3 années d’expérience pertinente en gestion en milieu manufacturier;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Knowledge of mechanics and metalworking (an asset).
