Duties :

  • Manage and coordinate all activities related to transformation, manufacturing, washing and sanitation of equipment
  • Coordinate and plan workforce and operations to meet requests from internal and external customers
  • Manage and engage his team members and ensure that the work is done at all times safely
  • Make sure the cheese produces is high quality and meets all quality and safety standards , with the support of the quality department, the master cheese maker, production and operations managers
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement our processes and work methods
  • Coach, support and assist team members in problem solving
  • Identify training needs and assist in developing the competencies of its team members
  • Perform employee performance reviews on a regular basis
  • Ensure regular monitoring of activities and results
  • Respect and enforce all rules and all OH & S policies and procedures of the cheese factory

Requirements :

  • Bilingual French and English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Undergraduate degree in industrial engineering, automated production engineering, food engineering or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Degree in dairy specialization (asset)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position (manufacturing environment)
  • Relevant experience in cheese making
  • Experience and training in continuous improvement (asset)
  • Ability to lift 20 kg and work with chemical product
