Program Manager (IoT web and mobile applications)

Our client is a company offering cloud-based data collection and management technology intended primarily for the gaming industry, and counting on an international clientele is currently looking, to continue its growth, a program director.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the Director of Technology (CTO), and as a member of the company’s management team, your primary mandate will be to plan, schedule, organize, monitoring and evaluation of all the company’s technological projects. You will also optimize the development and implementation of monitoring and control tools by ensuring that they are updated on a regular basis. In addition, you will contribute to the monitoring analysis, anticipate issues and trends while proposing solutions and ensuring their implementation. As such, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and preparing execution schedules and steps, and verifying progress against these data;
• Prepare and submit budget forecasts for the company’s projects;
• Prepares contracts and negotiates revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors;
• Develop and implement a quality control program;
• Write progress reports and produce progress programs for clients;
• Use performance indicators and assist in decision-making. Define and implement corrective action plans;
• Conduct and manage risk assessment;
• Act as an Influencer on the various departments of the organization in order to ensure the success of the projects;
• Support project managers and other stakeholders in good project management, following procedures and processes;
• Develop practical project management methodologies and operational performance improvement tools and methodologies to facilitate project organization;
• Share your own vision with company employees and external stakeholders;
• Participate in the company’s growth strategy in collaboration with the Executive Committee;
• Contribute to the search for ideas and solutions by participating in exchanges and creative sessions and proposing improvements;
• Adapt behaviour and attitude according to the interlocutor to maximize the quality of the exchanges;

• Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients

Required qualification

• BAC in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or other relevant training;
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the technology sector;
• Experience in project management or R&D;
• Bilingualism (French and English spoken and written);
• Ability to organize, plan and manage priorities effectively and work under pressure;
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively with various stakeholders;
• Knowledge of project management principles;
• PMP Certification (asset);
• Available for occasional travel.
