Languages:  bilingual preferred (French/English)

Studies: Master’s degree or a Doctoral degree in psychology

Experience: No experience is required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The psychologist is responsible for:

Preparing, administering and interpreting psychological tests; Assessing clients and developing and implementing treatment plans; Developing and facilitating therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups; Providing emergency/crises intervention/stabilization services; Participating in interdisciplinary care planning; Maintaining clinical records and documentation; Building relationships with stakeholders in government and the community.

Other abilities: Interest to work with First Nations population

Targeted population: Clients from a private clinic and First Nations persons; adults and children

Security: criminal record check

Transportation and travel information: Possess a means of transportation
