YOUR CHALLENGE

We’re currently on the hunt for a talented and hands-on QA Manager. You will be responsible for building and managing the Quality Assurance department for Carebook. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing the procedures and methodology for the department and for managing all internal and external testing resources as we grow. In this role, you will:

  • Drive, plan and coordinate test activities and department
  • Establish, communicate, and manage department objectives
  • Own and implement testing strategy, processes and technologies
  • Test newly developed features as well as regression testing to ensure high quality
  • Work alongside the development and product teams to resolve all issues quickly
  • Analyze requirements and refine acceptance criteria
  • Help to guide the overall development process to improve quality and flow of work
  • Facilitate cross department communications
  • Be involved in the planning and budget process for the department
  • Attract, retain, and develop QA talent
  • Mentor and coach testers on a day-to-day basis

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • Experience in building a QA department with a clear understanding of the process and methodology required to build a successful team
  • Experience in the health industry is a strong asset
  • Experience building complex test cases
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with Microsoft Test Manager and Team Foundation Server
  • Excellent project, time and resource management skills
  • Technically savvy and a good team player
  • Energetic and strong communication skills - oral and written
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and start up environment
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
