Quality and Continual Improvement Coordinator

Our client is a manufacturing company specializing in the manufacture of parts for the automotive sector, with clients in North America, Europe, and Asia, is currently looking for a Quality and Continual Improvement Coordinator for their state-of-the-art facilities.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the quality manager, your job will be to work with the company’s quality system, in addition to introducing and identifying opportunities for continual improvement and recommending action to be taken, including improvements to the organization of work as a whole, as well as work methods.

• Introduce ideas and methods for continual improvement;
• Contribute to and stimulate the management of the quality system;
• Carry out and validate samplings;
• Diagnose and solve quality problems;
• Manage nonconformity;
• Calibrate tools/equipment;
• Carry out internal and external audits;
• Provide support to operations;
• Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in industrial engineering or other relevant education and training;
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
• Well-acquainted with ISO 9001 standards;
• Certification related to management of continual improvement projects is an asset (Six Sigma, LEAN);
• Functionally bilingual (French and English).
