Our Client, a leader in packaging machines manufacturing, is looking to hire Quality control technician / QC Inspector to join his Team of professionals in his plant located in Montreal.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must hold a Technical diploma, DEC/DEP in mechanics, electricity OR the equivalent;
  • Must have relevant manufacturing experience;
  • Will work with the production and project managers in order to ensure that the manufactured machines and equipment meet the quality requirements and the needs of the customer;
  • Make sure any modification or rework are recorded and is routed through the engineering department so records are kept of all modifications and future equipment will arrive in the department not requiring the same modifications;
  •  Must be an expert in mechanical and electrical assembly;
  • Must preferably have an experience with packaging machinery or in a similar industry;
  • Must be able to understand mechanical and electrical drawings;
  • Must know how to read a caliper and micrometer;
  • Must have certain experience in grinding and polishing of steel parts;
  • Must have certain experience with taping, drilling, reaming and countersink;
  • Must have certain experience in machining on lathe and milling.
  • Must be able to travel from time to time to visit clients;
  • Must be able to do overtime if needed.

Working location: Montreal area.
