Receiver / Stock Keeper

At Aesus Packaging Systems inc. we design, fabricate, assemble, test and install packaging machinery (labelers, fillers, cappers, conveyors, turntables, etc.) for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage industries to name a few.  The company brings together a dynamic team of 100 employees and is located in Pointe-Claire (Montreal).

We are seeking a Receiver / Stock Keeper.

Work conditions :

• Permanent position; Full time (40h/week);
• Working hours from Monday to Thursday from 12:30 to 11pm (4 days/week), which gives access to a weekend of 3 days (OR possibility of day shift Monday to Friday from 8 to 4:30 (flexible hours, to be discussed));
• Must be able to lift parts, occasionally, that are large and heavy;

Job description :

This person will be in charge of receiving parts daily, entering them into the computer system and will have to put them either on a job, if needed, or into the stock room. He/she will also be responsible to check stock levels and make sure to keep the stock room organized and clean. When needed, this person will have to pack parts that are being shipped. He/she will also be working with another Stock Keeper/Receiver who has different tasks so communication will be very important.  In order to keep up with the work, this person needs to be able to multi-task and must work well under pressure because it can be stressful at times.

Main responsibilities :

• Receive parts;
• Enter parts/information into the computer system;
• Put parts on a job if needed;
• Put parts into the stock room;
• Keep stock room organized;
• Prepare parts to be shipped.

Requirements :

• High school diploma;
• 1-2 years of related experience (an asset);
• Bilingual French and English (an asset);
• Must be a fast learner, a team player, have good organizational skills, punctual and have good initiative;
• Must have computer skills;
• A good memory.
