Sales Representative (Atlantic Provinces)
Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Supervisor, the Sales Representative is responsible for attaining his territory’s sales goals, developing strategies to develop and grow is territory in accordance with the company’s mission and strategic plan. He/she carries out all activities related to the promotion, sale and after-sales service of company products and services. He/she is also responsible for stimulating sales through prospecting efforts, notably among contractors, retailers and other potential users.
In addition to selling Duchesne products, the incumbent advises clients about product applications and merchandising in order to ensure efficient and high-quality customer service and optimal sales. The sales representative is also responsible for supplying all market intelligence to the company about the clientele, the competition, prices, trends, survey data, etc.
- University degree in Administration or Commerce is an asset;
- One (1) to three
- Good knowledge of the building materials market is considered an asset;
- Strong Computer skills
- Desire and capability/skills to effectively and efficiently manage multiple on-going sales opportunities and client expectations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of the diversify product line
- Willingness to assume responsibility, ownership and accountability
- Bilingual, French and English
