YOUR CHALLENGE

We’re on the hunt for a talented Scrum master who will provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills supporting the development of our software applications (B2B SaaS enterprise platform and iOS & Android B2C apps). In this role, you will:

• Guide, advise and support the product and development teams to efficiently work with the Agile methodology (Scrum) and various Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
• Remove the team’s impediments by adjusting the processes, using your interpersonal skills, raising flags to the Product Owners, doing some clerical work yourself, etc!
• Work with multiple teams located in multiple geos (main team is in Montreal)
• Facilitate the work of the team (conflict resolution, situational awareness, empowerment, transparency)
• In collaboration with the Product Owners, monitor the team’s velocity and apply the required actions to improve it if necessary
• Provide support to the Product Owner by helping him to create the user stories, order the backlog items, etc
• Use a variety of pattern and techniques to support the Scrum approach (Retrospective formats, bugs prioritization, user testing feedback loop, etc)
• Coordinate the release plans and write the release notes

 YOU HAVE

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
• 5+ years of experience as a SCRUM master
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Test Rail, and VSTS, aha! an asset
• Experience in handling multiple concurrent teams and software products through the entire software development lifecycle
• Experience in a similar role in the health industry, an asset
• Experience in SaaS, iOS and Android products development cycle
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to prioritize
• Technically savvy and a good team player
• Detail oriented, but able to see and communicate the big picture
• Energetic and strong communication skills - oral and written
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and start up environment
• Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
