Scrum Master

You are a multitasker and a strategic thinker who can proactively anticipate, identify, and solve problems effectively. Founded in 2012, TickSmith is a young, experienced and dynamic FinTech company seeking an organized and motivated Scrum Master to join the team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll leverage your expertise in agile methodologies to continuously deliver features aligned with our vision. You’ll manage multiple projects across multiple teams that use the latest technology to build a platform that manages and consolidates huge data sets of financial data. You will be involved with the client relationship and coordinate product releases.

What you’ll need

• Daily scrum execution for multiple scrum teams
• Facilitate release and sprint planning efforts
• Facilitate collaboration between the product and engineering teams to communicate and develop the product vision and roadmap
• Maintain product backlog
• Work closely with clients to ensure all interdependencies and deliverables
• Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
• Remove impediments and suggest improvements
• More than 3 years of experience in a tech lead, project coordinator, scrum master role
• Ability to communicate (written and spoken) effectively and collaborate with customers and team
• Proven leadership, build by respect and love to work.
• Bilingual (French and English)

Assets

• Jira and Confluence experience
• Familiar with financial market data and/or trading systems
• Interested in Big Data, Business Intelligence and analytics
