Coordinator for a Flight Charter Transportation Company Cedar Aviation is currently looking Coordinator to join its company.

Responsibilities:

Flight following and monitoring of all flights within the sector of operation, including route analysis and calculation of fuel requirements Book, prepare and set up scheduled flights and charters Schedule hotel bookings including check-in and checkout Accurate log sheet data entry Charter billing and invoicing Maintain professional and effective radio communications with aircraft and between departments Review, revise and communicate changes to the operational flight plan to the Pilot in Command as required. Coordinate aircraft MEL and maintenance limitations with Maintenance Control. Communicate information pertaining to irregular operations to the necessary contact as required. Use knowledge and interpretation of changing weather and operating conditions to provide recommendations for flight delays or cancellations. Also analyze operational conditions and identify opportunities that may benefit constrain or impede operational capabilities. Assist in additional duties as outlined in the Company Operations Manual and dispatch manual. Foster an environment of teamwork and good relations with all departments by enhancing and maintaining effective All personnel are encouraged to be on the alert for hazards on the job. All personnel are responsible for the prompt and diligent reporting of all observed or suspected hazards.

Skill Requirements:

• Valid Air Operator Radio License not required but considered an asset.
• Previous flight dispatch experience not required but is considered an asset.
• Previous experience within a Flight Operations Department considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and decision making skills.
• Ability to multi task and to manage time effectively.
• Ability to perform and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and to take initiative.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft office programs.

Shift Requirements: Full time 40 hours
