Senior Webmaster

Our client is a globally-recognized leader in the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of innovative, science-based health products which are distributed in more than 35 countries with over 1,300 employees and seven manufacturing facilities.

POSITION SUMMARY

The senior webmaster is responsible for the production, integration, maintenance and evolution of the Company’s various sites (corporate and brand websites and corporate intranet).  The candidate should have a creative mind as the role also involves graphic design for different marketing/communications platforms. Management of domain names (over 200) and technical maintenance (hosting, troubleshooting, DNS changes, etc.) of the many Canadian. The Webmaster will act as the trusted advisor for Corporate and several business units. 

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Webmaster and Web Integrator

Integration / Maintenance

• Perform formatting and integration of text, documents, and photos using a CMS or integrate HTML and CSS and ensure quality control;
• Ensure the online dissemination and integration of content in the intranet portal;
• Troubleshoot various websites including the Corporate website;
• Advise, assist, and support the business units with their needs, requests and web approaches as well as solving technical issues;
• Applying the Company’s graphic and editorial standards;

Marketing / Web Architecture / Graphic Design

• Making recommendations regarding the usability and architecture of the sites and ensure their improvement;
• Develop wireframes and make interactive prototypes to be presented to the different stakeholders;
• Design visual concepts for internal and external marketing purposes, explain the rationale and communicate the vision;
• Create and develop visual elements for social media, intranet, websites, presentations and other marketing tools;

Web Marketing

• Assist in optimizing web presence (SEO, conversion optimization, SEO campaigns, etc.);
• Enhance social media presence by identifying new trends, initiatives and practices;
• Use tools and reports on social networks to determine the impact of our presence;

Web Project Management and Coordination

• Respond to all phases of implementation of web projects (planning and analysis, development, integration and quality assurance) and coordinate work between different stakeholders (internal clients – corporate and business units -  as well as suppliers);
• Manage domain names (purchases and transfers).
