Our client, AVERNA is looking for up to 5 SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS C++. AVERNA's project is located in Ville St-Laurent and the 5 positions are full time -regular roles. 

Description

This position of Software Developer C++ is for our Professional Services Team and this mandate is for a customer located in Ville St-Laurent. Within the scope of this mandate, you'll be asked to participate in the investigation and resolution of technical problems on various projects by using advanced technologies. You will be involved in the analysis of existing code and will have to determine the problem and fix it.

Your contribution in this role:

• Adapt and implement the software architecture design 
• Participate in the integration, validation and commissioning of software
• Work closely with QA team
• Use of formal and effective development methodologies
• Perform code reviews
• Propose solutions to various problems

The ideal candidate in a few words: 

• Bachelor degree in computer engineering, software engineering or related experience.
• Some experience in software development in C / C ++.
• Experience with multithread systems and problems resolution.
• Multilingual: Fluent in English (80%) and French written and spoken(80%).

Other interesting experiences: 

• Possess good experience with the Win32 API
• Multitask application development
• Use of design patterns
• Use of standard libraries STL and UML, and tools source control (eg ClearCase, Subversion) and Visual Studio
• Knowledge of XML
• Knowledge of Windows operating system, TCP, HTTP and UDP protocols
• Experience in designing GUI as well as the quality assurance process and unit testing
