Our client, a company specialized in the development, manufacture, sale and commissioning of vision instruments for the forest products processing industry, is currently seeking for a Software Developer - Artificial Intelligence.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the AI technical manager, your main mandate will be to develop tools and functionalities based on such techniques, in particular for object classification. You will play a key role in keeping the company at the cutting edge of technology by exploiting and participating in the latest advances in the field. As such you will :

  • Develop functionalities based on artificial intelligence ;
  • Develop algorithms and user interfaces in C++ ;
  • Rigorously test your developments and be confident in your work ;
  • Work in a team to accomplish large-scale projects ;
  • Occasionally visit clients and deploy realizations ;
  • Perform every other task compatible with your functions.

Required qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science, or any other combination of relevant education and experience ;
  • Experience in C++ programming ;
  • Experience in artificial intelligence (an asset) ;
  • Bilingualism, written and spoken ;
  • Ability to work in a team ;
  • Be creative, passionate and innovative ;
  • Demonstrate rigor and perseverance.
