Our client, a company in the technology sector, specializing in human-machine interface solutions and printed electronics technologies, is currently seeking a Specialist in manufacturing test development.

Nature of position

The Manufacturing Test Development Specialist will be responsible for developing, validating and supporting manufacturing test solutions for products. As such you will :

  • Develop the test strategy, and select and order the equipment, tools and jigs required for the test ;
  • Assemble, validate test benches, and design the test program ;
  • Prepare documentation and training for test operators ;
  • See to the evaluation, selection and implementation of new tools for testing and test automation ;
  • Participate in the new product development process for the development of manufacturing test solutions ;
  • Ensure the support/disastering of test solutions for internal and external production ;
  • Act as a technical expert to production ;
  • Recommend and convince colleagues of optimal solutions ;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet customer expectations ;
  • Lead the process of setting up the tests to be performed for production in line with the customer requirements and engineering ;
  • Carry out every other task compatible with your functions.

Required qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or DEC in electrical, electronic or computer engineering or other relevant engineering background ;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing manufacturing test solutions or equivalent experience ;
  • Knowledge of electronics, industrial computing ;
  • Knowledge of CAN, RS232, USB, SPI, I2C, C++, LabVIEW communication protocols ;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment ;
  • Good knowledge of French and English, both oral and written.
