Stress MRB engineer
For one of our customers, we are currently looking for a stress MRB engineer for our office in Toronto.
The main responsibilities for the position will be to:
- Support aircraft production and assembly as a structure stress engineer;
- Check and review the proposed disposition provided by the MRB team;
- Provide static stress support and technical expertise to other engineering functions.
- Integrate the overall structural analysis approach for the airframe in conjunction with the others departments.
- Participate in engineering technical reviews and configuration decisions.
- Organize and supervise the preparation of stress reports and formal compliance documents to fulfill the certification requirements.
- Be responsible for the quality and accuracy of the analyses generated in the group and methodologies used in the reports.
The competencies required are:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; including advanced static structural analysis of large aircraft primary structures and system components.
- Familiarity with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis and FEM.
- Previous experience as MRB engineer.
- Well understanding of the structural certification process for civil aircraft.
- Working experience with Catia V5 and PASTRAN/NASTRAN
